Frequency is a commitment, not an estimate
Servicing frequency is agreed before delivery and written into the hire agreement, based on how many people are using the units. If the site scales up, the schedule changes with it. That is a conversation, not something you should have to chase.
If something changes on site you get a call, not a surprise on the invoice.
Working out the quantity
The number of units a site needs is driven by two things: how many people are on site, and how long they are there. A crew of twenty working a full day is a very different requirement from two hundred people at a weekend event, even though the headline number looks bigger for the event.
- Shift patterns: overlapping shifts push the peak higher than the headcount suggests
- Duration: a two-day event and a six-month build need different servicing schedules, not just different quantities
- Site layout: one bank of units at the gate does not work if the crew is spread across a large site
- Whether the site already has any permanent facilities
- Visitors, deliveries and subcontractors who are not on your headcount
Placement matters as much as quantity
Units that are inconvenient do not get used, and units that are hard to reach do not get serviced properly. We place them where people already walk, on ground a service vehicle can reach, and away from where food is handled.
